Counselling can help you to navigate through difficult experiences and feelings. It is a safe and supportive environment to explore things in your life you are struggling or unhappy with. It can help you to gain a better and deeper understanding of yourself and your behaviour patterns, gain the confidence to bring meaningful and sustainable changes. It can also improve the sense of self -worth and help you to feel more complete and satisfied with your life.
Together we will work towards finding ways to making your life more fulfilling: from identifying your goals and needs at the initial session to exploring and making sense of challenges you face in the consequent therapeutic process. It may involve talking, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and creative practices. Your therapy would be tailored to your individual needs and circumstances with your active involvement in identifying what works best for you.

Do you prefer to have counselling sessions from the privacy and security of your own home? Have more flexibility with scheduling?

All you need is a computer, laptop or device with a webcam. Once you’ve booked a session you will receive an email with instructions on how to use the video conferencing platform and a link to access your session.

At the time of your appointment, just click the link and you’ll be connected to a video call.

Mindfulness and Meditation

In a stressful environment, you may find yourself losing connection with the present moment, missing out on how you’re feeling in the here and now, ruminating about the past or imagining the future.
Meditation and mindfulness exercises can bring your thoughts and emotions to a state of greater balance and acceptance, attuning your body and mind to the present moment. It helps to reduce stress through breathing techniques, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind. It can also ease anxiety, improve attention and focus, normalise sleep.
I can do meditation, mindfulness exercises and visualisations within the scope of a session or make a recording for you to use throughout the week. All of the above is tailored to your unique life situation and therapy goals.
